Start finasteride in low doses when in early stages?

What do you guys think? Should I start finasteride in low doses, like .3mg if I'm still in the early stages of hairloss? That way maybe I can make sure I don't get sides and can maintain its effectiveness for more years?

Maybe... maybe not... this isn't necessarily going to prolong its effectiveness. I however... am not a doctor.

from what i've read, such mico dosages arent really effective. 1 mg is recommended daily. how about you start from 0.5 and slowly take up to try and avoid sides as much as possible. was reading up on socks regimen and am thinking of trying it out i.e half a proscar pill every 3 days.
