Splitting Propecia in half. Taking 1/2 Night 1/2 morning

I read on another thread that the half life of propecia is like 6 hours. If that is the case, does anyone think it would be beneficial to take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night? Also is it generally better to take finasteride at night or in morning. When is the majority of DHT created in the body?

While the blood half life of finasteride is only a few hours, it forms an almost unbreakable complex with the target enzyme. Thus, restoration of enzymatic activity requires the synthesis of additional type-2 5-AR. This requires several days.

Hence taking it several times per day will have no additional beneficial effects.

You can take it in the morning or at night it doesn't matter. And you only need finasteride once a day.

Not true UNFORTUNATELY.

If one takes 1mg finasteride once per day, the daily DHT and 5ARII enzyme blood serum concentrations varies both by 10% roughly. By taking 0.5mg finasteride every 12 hours, you will reduce this variation to a little under 5%.
