I've been on finasteride for 3 years. I'm just noticing that my crown is beginning to thin. I haven't been applying Rogaine to my crown, but my temple region, which I do apply Rogaine to, seems stabilized. For that reason I'm wondering if it is not my genes, but the drugs. The pharmacist cuts the tablets before I receive my prescription. I receive a years worth of cut tablets at a time. 90 tablets cut into fourths. I was just wondering if you think the split tablets lose their effectiveness due to their exposure to air. Should I start cutting tablets as needed or receiving smaller prescriptions?
