spironolactone one month on...

Now ive noticed nothing so far (with the exception of a slightly higher shed rate which may or may not have been caused by spironolactone...) and im not naive enough to think that is weird, but i thought i had read that since spironolactone is rapidly absorbed and metabolized, it should act more quickly than, say, finasteride, and less shedding is commonly noticed fairly soon after starting.

Now i know everyone is different and will respond to a different degree and at different times (or sometimes not at all) but im just curious about the simple "science" behind the stuff...as far as- does spironolactone still require a few months to yield anything in the way of results (fewer hairs falling, etc) by a mechanism similar to that of finasteride? (my very general understanding of finasteride is that while it gets to work in reducing dht bodywide right away, it only begins to signal the hair follicles some time after at which point many follicles are given a signal to go into the telogen phase, which then some time later leads to the new hair that is better protected from dht..or something)

still though, since spironolactone is applied locally, one would think it would kick into gear even a little bit sooner.

anyway, sorry for the the long rambling questions, just curious about the process

If u start a regimen, You must stick with it for at least 6 months. If you will quit everytime you think there are no results, you might as well just shave.

when it comes to spironolactone, give it around a month.

im not at all thinking of quitting, just wondering what- if anything, i should be expecting at around the 1 month mark
