"The question is whether its good at the hairline. Estradiol and spironolactone SEEM, from my layman's point of view, to both do something very similar. Estradiol is counter effective ( i think actually it shortens growth) on the vertex and scalp, but is somewhat beneficial on the hairline. Based on this i wonder if we could say the same for spironolactone. Lipoxidil.com has stated for a very long time that their spironolactone is recommended for hairlines, but i never heard that before or understood why until now...so maybe they were ahead of the game on this one.
Someone more science savvy than myself and with more time on their hands needs to address this issue."

how could that possibly be true? how could a hairloss treatment be effective on the hairline and countereffective on the vertex. as the dude said he's not science savvy, i'd ignore this.
