Spinning

My wife just bought a really nice spinning bike. She really, really loves doing it. She loves the comfort of doing it at home and got a great deal the day after Thanksgiving so she bought one. Anyway, I'm kind of interested in doing it myself, as it does appear to be a great workout. Anyone here ever do it? I don't really want to lose much weight though, but am instead looking to get good definition from it. Is that possible? I was hoping to get cut up rather than lose tons of weight which I think may be what spinning really does. Can anyone give me any advice or input from experience??

In the summer I bike outside..my legs and *** get quite toned and powerfull..but cant really say it builds any muscle on the upper body..spinning would primarily give you better endurance and larger leg muscle, and loose some of what you have of fat and muscle..but to gain muscle you need to hit the weights
