Dr. Roland Lauster hasn't done sh*t with his successful creation of skin with follicles.
Dr. Jahoda's finding's haven't gotten us anywhere.
Dr. Cotsarelis' parading of discoveries and attentionwhoring hasn't gotten us anywhere.
Dr. Ken Washenik failed.
Gail Naughton and Histogen have been doing jack sh*t.
David Hall and Replicel have been done jack sh*t just like Histogen.

There's no way to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t with this kind of pathetic progress from the biotechs and researchers. Even if you reached out to them, you KNOW you'd get their typical 'in 2-5 years' bullsh*t response... which was their response 10 years ago!

Only way to do anything about hair loss is if we get it done ourselves; wait for the chinese team to release detailed info of how they created DP cells and combine it with Dr. Jahoda's findings and put these magical discoveries into actual PRACTICE rather than boast about them and then fvck off like all the researches have done for the past 30 years.

Do you think there is a lack of interest in finding a cure these days? Maybe due to so many men just shaving their heads? I think The Lord of the rings movies was my main influence to keep my hair. Then I found out later on everyone in the cast was wearing wigs.

Lack of interest, lack of funding, society treating hair loss like a joke, preferential treatment towards women's health, men not giving a sh*t about their own health and being too timid to take a stand like women do (kudos to them on that front), red tape from the FDA and other governing bodies outside of USA and lack of an actually working treatment that gives as much hair as you like are all contributing factors. Even ourselves as a hair loss community. Every time theres mention of a crowfunding initiative there's always some pessimistic b**ch that moans about it not working.

Essentially, you're asking for 'who's to blame?'. They're all at fault... they're all pathetic failures... Spencer included. Nobody seems to call them out though, all of this progress has gone on for decades and we're still stuck with stone age anti androgens that cause limp d!ck and manboobs yet we're here on the forums being pissed off and depressed while tolerating this kind of bullsh*t.

I've never taken finasteride. RU I had success last year with it combined with Minoxidil. I got off RU when I feared my libido was crap. But my sex drive comes and goes. (I was on Saw Palmetto then too). I tried dermarolling... didn't do anything except make me bleed a lot. I have CB with a custom vehicle from a private forum, I'm trialing it now along with RU and Saw Palmetto. I'm contemplating trying Finasteride.

I fvcking hate this disease. I feel like I really am destined for a sexual death sentence... and everyone else is just taking the piss out of me; haha, youre balding, I'm not, my life is awesome and yours is crap... excuse me while I go bang a dozen different broads while you get squat. Researchers included for basically LYING about timelines.

I've listened to two shows, one was about Mwamba or whatever he's called talking about Nigam and the other was a run of mill show, he said that finasteride and FUT were the best that we had and if we wanted the best output we had to get them. I don't subscribe to this viewpoint, I think FUT's should be banned, I think finasteride shouldn't even be talked about in 2012/3, if you waited this long you can wait a little longer for CB or just use RU+minoxidil, if your hair loss is very aggressive chances are finasteride wouldn't stop it anyway and the hairs transplanted from the FUT would either fall because you're destined to be a +NW6 and those hairs weren't safe or the rest of the hairs would fall giving you a very thin density. dutasteride wasn't even talked. The whole thing seems like it was sponsored by hair transplant clinics trying to push FUT plus finasteride. I like the dudebro from hairlossfromsteroids more.

I like the show. I watch it because I think it is entertaining to hear other guys that are dealing with the same crap that I am. I don't go there to hear about future treatments or anything like that. If I did I would be upset and frustrated too.
