Speed of hairloss..

Does hairloss ever increase in pace?

I think I've been slowly thinning on my crown and receding super slow for the last 5 years. Not really enough to notice after a blow dry. I'm taking 0.5mg of finasteride now and wonder if the speed of hairloss stays the same or does it ever increase in speed?

Is finasteride more likely to help people who lose hair slowly over people who lose it fast?
