How important is it to literally 'part the hair line' to apply rogaine DIRECTLY on scalp (as I've seen on youtube vids)? I find this very challenging as I need to apply it all over the top of my head and it's not the easiest to create multiple hairlines so as to distribute straight onto the scalp. I'm attempting to get it closest to the scalp as possible but essentially what is happening is I'm massaging it into my hair (similar to applying mouse) and 'attempting' to rub it into the actual scalp as close to/best as possible. Is this ok? Is this the way most apply it to their heads?
It also makes my hair a little dry, and gives it some hold.
Please confirm my application process is OK and I'm not wasting the product!
