I went to pittsburgh to a specialist to determin my massive hair and eyebrow loss. He looked at my hair like a monkey searching for a bug for about 2 minutes. He said everything looked good. He said he saw no MAJOR signs of male pattern baldness. He did say the I have may experienced a Telogen Effluvium episode. This sh*t has been going on for 2 years. He never looked at my eyebrows. He said I have minor follicutitus. And not to cut my hair so short in back,#1 clipper. He said that im 37 and this will happen. WTF. He also yanked on the side of my head a couple times. and told my a have mild androgentic alopecia, male pattern baldness. He suggested I NOT take propecia. He told me the sexual sides were to promenant and a new study showed it was 10% libido problems. No proof just what he said. My hair is falling out at an alarming rate. I guess mild androgenetic alopecia is a good diagnostic. Maybe it is my thryoid. but the burning and tingling is driving me nuts. I was thinking about taking propecia but he acted like I would go bald down the road. I said I was a mild diffuse thinner witha nw2.5 hairline. He aslo said I was a muscular good looking man and should be happy. Maybe he was hitting on me. lol Sorrry for the rant. Im just getting very frustrated. I am loosing over 200 hairs per day. so would you start propecia or what. btw thanks

I notice your regimen says you were on propecia before, so you must have an idea of how you will react to it.

Why did you stop?

Man I was at so many docs that they wanted me to stop everthing and get a baseline blood panel done. So I stopped everything. I am turning into one hell of a hyprochonrdriac. I am honestly more scared about the shedding. I just wish the burniing and itching would stop. and it seems propecia helps that. I honestly think it is not normal male pattern baldness. At least Im hoping. Dude said I looked good and so did the students that were with him. I think im going to take some hgh, my buddies are on the stufff and it is amaziing. It grew there hair, skin looks like there 23, they got bigger, stronger, and ripped. I workout with them on a regular basis and they have surpassed me in the matter of 8 months. It is honestly unbelivable. I know the sides are real bud so far all 4 of them have had nothing but good things to say, they take 3ius every day. They all had hair pretty much like mine and it now looks like they were in highschool again. if i cant get any awnsers im giving it a try. We also diet about the same. Every heard of hgh and hair growth. Ive been reading up on it.

I've read a little bit about it, there's a thread on this forum i seem to remember. I'd start looking into remedies for hairloss away from male pattern baldness if i were you. If you can tolerate finasteride, it might be worth another shot.
