Is it true that you can buy proscar over the counter in spanish pharmacies?? I thought i read this once but maybe i got it wrong or the law has changed. Anyone know??

Im going to spain soon to visit family so i thought i might try get some if i can :)

Yeah, it's true but you may be asked for prescription. In that case just move to another pharmacy.

In neighbouring Portugal, you can buy ANYTHING without a prescription :) If you have the time, pay us a visit.

proscar por favor...tengo un caso malo de la ampliación de próstata :)

flavio how much is it in portugal in euros. im guessing it will be simlar in spain.

I'm not sure, probably around 40 euros a packet.

That's why I love Portugal. You don't even have to say why you need the drugs. Just go in the drugstore, ask for your meds (and I'm talking about genuine brand drugs, not generics!), pay and leave - no questions asked.

Bloody hell... Don't the EU rules and regulations apply over there? I'm pretty sure that can't be legal. It's probably a practice that is tolerated but not legal.

Even the lawless Eastern Europe is much stricter than that. A visit to the doctors will get you any prescription, but the pharmacies wouldn't give you anything without a prescription.
