Solarium / tanning booth harmful?

Is tanning booth harmful for my hairs? In the winter i go to a tanning studio every week and use the lowest possible tanning level for 20 minutes.

Some say it is not harmful, some say yes!?? I see in the summer my hair is much thinner than in the winter but if i visit the tanning studio the hair treats like in the summer?

Can tanning perhaps burn up hair roots what are already week and small?

I really want to be tanned in the winter also but i dont want to destroy my hard work to keep hairs.

No I doubt it would make a difference. Otherwise we would expect to see a higher incidence of male pattern baldness in areas of more sunshine, like Florida as opposed to a Northern state.
If your concerned then use a hair conditioner that protects against heat damage and blocks harmful UV rays. American Crew do a shampoo and conditioner that you might want to look at.
