I cut a finasteride pill roughly in half and swallowed it.

2 hours later still have libido and no apparent sides. (lol)

Seriously though.. If Im gonna get hit with sides, how soon can I expect them? And how long should I swallow 1/2 a pill before I go to full dose?

Couple of weeks, couple of months... Who knows. Everybody is unique as far as side effects go.

As for sides you might not even notice them. IMO you will likely notice your semen gets watery and you may have a slightly less sensitive penis. I noticed both and the latter sounds really bad but its really not a big deal and I get horny as much as ever I am just more susceptible to losing my sex drive for a while if I masturbate too much.

Yeah 1mg generic finasteride. Does the watery semen ever correct itself? I still have a mild hope of one day being a father, or at least Id like to think it may happen before I get too old for it to be *grandfatherly*...

I'm really hoping Im a good responder to finasteride and recover a good amount of what I lost, which is alot. I know Norwood 1 and 2 is out of the question but a 3? I hope so.

Update:

Today is the 3rd day of 1/2 dose. No discernable sides yet. I have a half pill for tomorrow and then Ill jump to 1mg from there on.

Only sides i got were watery semen for a while and it is a tad harder to get an erection. Still possible and in no way interferes with my life. Hope you respond well to finasteride and get some of your hair back.

So one week in now: So far still no discernible sides. Libido seems fine. I haven't notice anything unusual yet, not even ball ache. I wonder if I'm just tolerating this well or if a crash is soon to come, or if I got a bogus batch of finasteride. (accord brand from lemon aid health.)

I had brainfog the first week , difficulties to concentrate but nothing sexual, not even watery semen (I think ? Not discernable).
Now after 1 year, i have still no side
