Small hairs popping up

So, I am on finasteride...about 5 1/2 months. I went through a shed and my vertex has been looking pretty rough. However, I have very small hairs popping up everywhere. It feels like I have a buzzcut underneath my normal hair cut. They are popping up on the side and back, not just in the male pattern baldness areas.

I guess I wanted to see if anyone else is going through, or has gone through and experienced these hairs popping up. I hope it is a good sign, but, as I said, my vertex still looks rough, so I need these things to grow. Anyone know how long it will take for them to grow out? Any thoughts, advice, anything would be greatly appreciated

I have those little speed bump hairs as well. Have been taking Finpecia for about 2 months now. From what I have read it looks like your responding well to the Propecia.

Any idea how long before these things grow out? Or, is there something I should be doing in the meantime?

Just stick it out and give it time. I use minoxidil as well for the crown of my head. Gonna start spironolactone probably some time in march.

Sorry if this is retarded, but what is spironolactone. Heard about it, but not really sure what it is. I have heard that oral spironolactone has some side effects, but really dont know what I am talking about
