Slowing hair loss without the 'big three' ?

Hi guys,

I'm 27 years old and for the past couple of months now I've been losing more hair than normal. I've read that it's normal to lose 50-100 hairs a day but when I showered before I never used to notice any hair loss but now I get a build up of hair between my fingers which I don't believe it normal. My hairline is what I'd describe as mature but it's been like that since I was around 19 so the past 8 years of so things have been pretty stable.

Anyway I'm just looking for a natural, simple way to slow my hair loss without taking any kind of medication. I'm really not interested in this 'false maintenance' which only lasts as long as you keep taking the medication. Is there any natural product I can take or any lifestyle changes which might slow my hair loss? I'd be interested to hear if anybody has had any success following this kind of path.

I've seen that that are so many 'natural' products out there claiming to help with hair loss but no doubt the vast majority are just cons. I'd be really grateful for any advice! Thanks

There is no "natural" way to stop hairloss. There just isn't. If there was, then we'd all be using it.

As for your "false maintenance" comment...that's just a dumb comment to make. Most things in life you have to keep doing to keep seeing the results. I started working out a bit over a year ago. I lost 30 lbs, then put back on 20lbs of muscle. If I stop and go back to eating like sh*t and being lazy, then I lose what I gained. If you're in a relationship but stop caring or working on it, then you'll lose that too. The good things in life take continual work.

Point taken but remember, the 'continual work' you refer to is continual medication. Who knows what effect these drugs have over a very long period of use. It's quite possible that they may cause very serious health problems. We just simply don't know, so from my point of view, they're not worth it.

I'm sure there are natural things that can be done to at least slow hair loss so if anybody has any insight I'd be really grateful.
