My hair loss was very strange. I started balding at about 20 and I'm 30 now. For the first 9 years of my balding my hairline simply receded until i was a norwood 3. I kept the same hairline from about 25-29. I knew it would thin on top eventually but in the past year the hair on the top of my head has pretty much gone to hell. Within a year the hair on the front of my head went from total coverage where my hairline still existed to small thin nearly blonde hairs that almost completely show my scalp. Its rather frustrating because it came out of nowhere with a vengeance. If I knew it would happen so fast I would have started my hair loss regiment much sooner. I have noticed that all the hair I'm losing is very light and short and thin and the "bulb" on the ends are barely visible anymore.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it even normal? why would my hair loss be so slow and gradual then all of a sudden speed up by like 10x? I'm wondering if the concealer may have hurt my follicles in some way?
I started the big 3 recently. Is it more likely than not for it to grow these small thin blonde hairs back to what they were a year ago? Will it likely give me large healthy follicles again?
