Slow balding, finasteride recommended dosage?

i started noticing this hairl fall since 15 years old until now i'm still shedding but the visual balding is not noticeable. so I think I should take finasteride but at what dosage? just enough to stop the fall. I don't want to go all out on finasteride. My doctor told me that my sex drive is my greatest gift.
