Skin Care For Pih.(leave Me Alone 7 Words)

So ladies and gentlemen,how do you take care of your skin?? I started using differin for a few closed comedones that I had on my cheeks for a month. Never suffered a single peel because of it and it made my skin better. Then I got greedy and jumped to retin-a 0.05 with to hope of better results and boy was I wrong. Skin peeled horribly and became extremely dry for the 1 month that I used. I've been off it for a week but my skin is still pretty scaly and dry. Any solutions for it and also for getting rid of PIH (Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation)?? How long does it take to go on it's own tho?? Acne.org is pretty silent hence.

Put a light lotion on right after applying your retin a

Also don't start out using it every day. Start by using it 2-3x a week, then gradually increase usage week by week

Also wear sunscreen daily

For me, I don't use anything yet. But I would like to use it for my skin.
