Single Knots And Double Knots Question

If you have been following my post regarding shedding I inquired what knot is being used on my pieces.

Single knots in the front and double knots everywhere else.

My question is: If one has double knots in front, are they very noticeable?

I am wondering if that is the cause of my shedding.

I have not seen double-knots used in front.

Shedding can happen two ways... 1. the knots come loose. This can happen if the knots are not done correctly. 2. The hair is breaking off above the knot, this can happen if the knots are over-bleached or the hair itself is over-processed. You can tell my taking a magnifying glass and seeing if the knots are still tied to the base... but the hair is broken off.
