Like many others here, I recently receieved my Finpecia batch from CIPLA in the mail, from India. Considering my occupation, I found the insert going over the Constitution and US Custom's laws, etc, very humorous.

Nevertheless, what is the general consensus regarding this stuff? Cipla is a world-known drug company, no? Has anyone felt different taking their finasteride, versus Merck finasteride?

I wonder if it has been tested for authenticity.

I am currently taking about .50 a day.

I also have Cipla finasteride, but I have Propecia to finish first before I take Cipla's finasteride. (It's like my backup brand).

I don't know if they're legit though, I should hope so as they're pretty well customer service oriented and delivery-safe. :)

You just need to be careful opening up the box. Those Giant Cobras like to slither into things like that, and who knows if someone is keeping them away from the shipping dock at Cipla.

Cipla is legit. The question is whether the site you ordered from is legit. I recently read an article saying that up to 20% of medications sold over the internet are faked.

That's why I alternate every other day my remaining propecia and fincar....just in case.

Cipla is India's second largest pharmaceutical company. India has a very strong pharmaceutical industry (one of the largest and fastest growing in the world) so you can be sure it is all legitimate. They also operate with a moral stance. I seem to recall India's pharmaceutical industry was derided by American and European counterparts because they were offering drugs to people in Africa to combat aids for next to nothing. The American's claimed this offer was undermining investment in R&D.
