Side Hair and Rear Hair Hair Loss - Blood Tests? Pic's Inclu

Hi all,

I have been reading on the fourm alot of people with male pattern baldness still lose alot of hair from the sides and rear, as you can see in the photo i have very thin hair all over and very low hair count on the scalp, sides, rear and top.

Im rember reading somewhere bryan had a list of blood tests to been done can any one supply me with a list so when i go to the doctors please?

Also is there anything that can be done for the side's and rear of scalp?

I am not sure of the specific tests but I believe you need to be testing your Thyroid TSH levels.

However you need to go one step beyond that and test T3 and T4 and " ? " potentially others.

Here in AU, if your TSH levels come back within the acceptable range then they will not test other levels for you, not for free.

You may have to pay, however the point being is that just because your results came back within a range deemed to be acceptable by mass-generalization it does not mean that your results are acceptable for YOU. This is a very important piece of information.

Many cases of Adrenal Fatigue, Chronic Fatigue, Hyperthyroidism and a myriad of other thyroid related disease go undiagnosed because of these sweeping generalizations that general practitioners make when reading results. However, it's not entirely their fault. There are medical standards to which to blame here!

That looks like the normal spot to bald. Your crown isn't directly on top of your head...it's down the back a little.

Thank So, so there the main ones i should be asking for, money is no issue with health :) so i get them to do all.

Au, i am to an aussie......

Skaff, its the same all the way down to the bottom of the scalp.
