Showering multiple times a day

My routine:
Get up at midday, Regenepure DR and NT immediately daily
Proscar 1mg at 1pm daily
Regaine foam at 7pm and midnight

My question - would it be worthwhile showering before my first use of regaine at 7pm to improve absorption or would showering twice a day do more damage than good?

I don't currently apply minoxidil on wet hair but I'm wondering whether it would be worthwhile starting by showering for a second time after university lectures before my 7pm foam application or not risking damaging my hair by showering twice.
