should you use more minoxidil than it says on the box if you cover your head in it?

People on this site say they use 1ml when they apply it. The box says to use 1ml on the vertex area only (which is a pretty small area). If you use it on the whole top part of your scalp then wouldnt you need to apply more?

Yes. I was told by my hair loss Doctor to use 2mL to cover the whole top of the scalp. I've been doing that once per day and it seems to be working just fine.

Apply where there is hair loss...which may be all over.

I apply it to the 3 hair partings (each side and middle) and crown.
