Should You propecia and Rogaine at the same time?

Hi, i have been experiencing hair loss since i turned 18, have been on Proscar 1.25mg for the last two months. Still have itchy scalp and hair falling out. few months earlier had an appointment with a specialist doctor who told me to use Rogaine and propecia at the same time for maximum result. But the main thing is that if i use both of them together, how would i know which one works and which one doesnt. Currently i decided to use proscar which i get from Chemist ware house at Dandenong Melbourne 30 tablets for $91 and split 5mg into 4. Since i heared more stories about proscar i am using this tablet only. I wanted to ask u guyz who are more experienced whether what decision i made is correct. I mean to me it makes sense. WHAT DO U THINK?

you're right that you won't know which medication is doing the job for you if you start both at the same time. i'd stay on the proscar for 6 more months or so and if you are still losing a lot of hair then i'd add the rogaine. once you start the rogaine then you basically have to continue it forever and it's much more of a pain than popping a pill. i myself am holding off on the rogaine for now.
