Should You Care About Hair Shedding Or Not?

I'm not on any treatments but i'm definitely receding and thinning at the hairline.

For the past year i've been obsessively running my hands through my hair and looking at/counting how many hairs fall out.

Last week i had a massive shed.
This isn't a joke but on the previous day (Of the shed) i drank a lot of chocolate milk, went to the gym and fapped (ejaculated 5 times). I don't know if it's coincidence but the next day i noticed a few hairs on my pillow. When i had a shower i noticed heaps of hairs falling out. More than ever before. That entire day my hair was falling out like crazy.

Fast forward a week later and i've definitely noticed a decline in shedding. When i run my hands through my hair only a few hairs would come out or none at all.

I always think to myself - what did i do / or what have i been doing to cause / reduce the shed.

The question is - should i even worry about this?
i've been told that it's completely irrelevant and you should just care about how your hair is looking compared to previous periods

No, baldness is great. The more you shed the faster you get there.

Seriously though, what are you doing about it? Are you using an anti-androgen?

When my hair loss first started kicking in the first thing I noticed was a huge increase in shedding during showers. I was losing insane amounts of hair, and had never noticed any shedding before. This definitely could indicate male pattern baldness kicking in. Your hair often won't look different until you have lost a large percentage (30-40%) of your hair.
