I know this person online but we only talk about computer stuff. I would like to know if I should talk to him about his hair loss. I think he knows that he has one but dont know if I should say something about Propecia or Rogaine?

bring up that you're losing your hair..maybe he'll say he is too. it'll be awkward for you to do it any other way.it'll end up being like an insult to him. if he wants to continue to talk about it, he will. i have a friend that is clearly balding but has no clue i am. i don't bring anything up because i don't want to hurt his feelings. keep that in mind when you think about doing this. regardless that guy isn't that bad concerning male pattern baldness. he can always cut his hair another way and have no noticible hairloss

Can't you see the contexts in which the same picture is posted in are totally different?

So it's okay for your friends to post a picture of you on small-dicks.com with a title "should I tell him he has a small dick?".

What if someone he knows is reading this very thread? Then everyone will hear about it and start joking around. I know it's unlikely, but it's about principles man! You're doing something that he doesn't want you to do - and you're doing it behind his back!

My advice is to 1. remove his picture. It's inappropriate to post a person's picture without their consent. 2. Not to mention it. Here's a similiar situation. You have a friend who has put on 40 pounds. You think you should say "Hey you've gotten fat recently. Have you heard about rice cakes?"

You'll most likely hurt his feelings rather than help. If he's really concerned about it, he'll look around online or to a doctor for information. Just be his friend and ready to talk if he brings it up.

Regardless of the verdict on removing the picture (I agree you're making a weak-sauce move keeping it on), I think you should tell him. 1:you don't talk to him anywhere but online, so a minimum of awkwardness ensues regardless the outcome. 2nce I realized I had male pattern baldness, I realized my older bro had it, too, and he now takes Propecia and is glad he didn't find out any later. Do him a favor, let him know. If he already knows, then, sh*t, log off and say you were having computer problems.
