I wouldn't take finasteride at 17. You are still growing and it may affect your development in a bad way.

But It's best to ask that question to a doctor. Also you need to see a therapist and psychiatrist if your depressed from hair loss. I been through that before and it's not good at all.

Dude you’re not losing your hair. Don’t take finasteride. Better stuff will be out in a few years if by which point you might start losing your hair .

There is no way I would start Propecia at age 17. Don't be stupid, to be blunt. You're health and growth from a juvenile to an adult is more important than hair. Give it a few years, new remedies may come along. You're hair is fine, no need to panic yet.
