Should I Start Rogaine. Receding Hairline And Possible Crown Things

Hey guys, I’ve been stalking these forums for a while now since I started to notice my hairline receding about a year and half ago. I’m now 23.5 years old and the receding has continued. As you’ll see on my photos my head of hair still looks quite thick (VERY THICK before) and the receedings only noticeable to he untrained eye when I pull my hair back. I’ve also noticed a bit of thinning in the crown and a slight texture change.

In maybe six months from now the receding will probably be more noticeable, as the front hairs are smaller and weaker than the rest and I’m feeling now might be the time to pull the trigger and start using Rogaine on my hairline and possibly the crown.

I’ve decided against propecia and read
mixed stories about regaine/Rogaine.

Any advice on what direction to take from the experinced guys is what I’m asking for seeing as at the moment I’m very apprehensive about whether to take action or not and what actions to take.

Sorry about the crazy amount of photos. Just want to give the full picture. The reason one crown photo looks balder is because of water and hair product.

Hey guys, im 23.5 years old and my temples have been receding for at least 1.5 years. Possibly thinning on the crown too. I feel like if I recede any further it will become noticable to the untrained eye. The hairs at the front of my hairline are noticably smaller and weaker.

Should I start using Rogaine to hold the hairline and thicken the crown? Also I’ve read a lot into finesteride and I’m very sceptical. Not sure what to do here. I’m very nervous about pulling he trigger and starting medications of any kind, so I really want to soak up some wisdom from some experienced guys here. That would be hugely appreciated. I’ll add a bunch of pictures. Cheers.

The recession looks very mild.
The blonde hair does not help.
I would reassess in six months.
Rogaine is indeed a medication, but side effects are limited compared to other hair loss drugs, so...

Ok thanks for the reply mate. I’m just concerned in 6 to 12 months time I’ll have a full on peninsular happening! Also is it worth using that nizoral shampoo everyone here’s talking about?
