Should I see the doctor?

Nothing to panic about I should say :D

Though I want to start taking proscar right away but I'm not sure whether I should talk to my doctor first? I feel perfectly well and have no medical conditions (that I know of!), but I hear you should get checked out for things like prostate cancer before you get on a programme of proscar/propecia etc.

Mind you I don't want to wait months for the results seeing as I'm quite keen to get started right away.

Yes, go see your doctor first just to make sure he knows everything that is going on since he might know things about your health that we don't.

That being said, if you are in your 20s or 30s I don't think a prostate check is really necessary.

is there a checklist of conditions that should not be mixed with the use of propecia/proscar? i.e. Heart defects, high blood pressure, history of depression etc!!!
