hey.. new to this site.. so i dont really know if im an nw3 or less or even more.. i took finasteride for 2 months at doses starting at .25 and after 2 weeks kept it steady at .5.. i did develop a nice little lump in one of my nipples so i reduced it to .25 every 2 days.. although the lump is not gone it does feel alot softer and is giving me hope in getting rid of it.. ive always had a high forehead but now i do notice that the tip of my hair in front has thinned out quite significantly.. do you guys suggest i just shave it and get it over with or should i fight this battle? I am also very tempted to just shave my head and say fk it but then i remember im only 22 and dont want to give up while im in my prime (not physically, but agewise) anyways any opinion from you guys would be awesome... and if anyone is using this to evaluate your own situation i suggest trying finasteride... i am quite the hypochondriac when it comes to taking medication but i did seem to handle it very well.. also the only sides i got were decreased semen volume (which corrected itself after 2 weeks) and the slightest ball ache... and then after a month and a half ive noticed this gyno bull****. Also, one thing ive noticed was im not looking for sex as often.. but when i need to get hard it really isnt a problem.. ive noticed on finasteride that my conversations with girls were alot better due to me always thinking about what id do to the girl sexually (pre finasteride) anyways... i also have a little theory... if you are a hairy man with a deep voice and plenty of facial hair, i think finasteride will effect you less negatively than others, the reason being that 60% dht inhibition still leaves you with a fair amount.. what do yall think about that?

full density my *** bro, look at that hairline... that **** dissapeared... i know my crown is surviving but man the front is going back! AANDD nw2 does mean balding so am i not right for taking preventative measures? any advice on the gyno though bro, this **** pisses me off that i finally grew a pair and listened to my brother (who has been on propecia for 5 years and is still way past baseline) and developed the ONLY side effect i was not worried about.

btw minoxidil 4 months currently but about a month ago i only started applying it once a day

Well from what I can tell and what other people say what causes gyno is a hormonal imablance; namely Estrogen. I'd imagine you're off finasteride now, perhaps try some estrogen blockers. I'm honestly now sure how effective they're but you could maybe stick to it for a couple weeks and perhaps get back on finasteride while of course still using estrogen blockers. I'm not even sure how effective they're, you'll have to do your research; so don't expect a miracle.
I only recommend doing it, if you really are committed to keeping your hair, because of course messing with your hormones is bad.

correct me if what im saying is nonsense, but i truly believe the hormonal imbalance was me gaining 30 pounds from this summer that passed (pre finasteride) and finasteride just topped it off... to be honest ive been taking a .25 dose every 3 days just to take that preventative measure ever since i got the gyno... i did continue to take finasteride for a week after i noticed the increase size in lump and i admit it was stupid of me... but wouldnt being on an estrogen blocker while being on finasteride be quite dangerous.. i mean im killing my most potent male hormone and now im blocking my estrogen hormone.. i feel like that will set me up for a hormonal crash.. i wanna take finasteride so bad, no side effects besides this fkn bump!! anyways, thanks for the insight i really appreciate it.

DON'T get on blockers now.Just give it a bit of heavy workout and running coz if you have quit finasteride now then your body would take about 1-2 months to be back to normal.
Also their is a chance of bone break or ostheopora--something.Google it

Yo OP google "Progesterone cream and gyno"
Im sure it would be interesting

Hey man. I heard these creams don't work for **** lol... Also I hit cardio every day since and managed to drop 9 pounds. If it were just pseudo gyno I wouldn't even be worrying but I def did develop a nice Lil lump in one of my breasts. I too am very skeptical on hopping on a estrogen blocker... And in my opinion the rumors about progesterone induced gyno are false.. If E levels weren't elevated then progesterone wouldn't induce the gyno. Therefore E is always the culprit. Have you experienced a similar side broski?

I went from calling my nipples "nipples' to now calling them 'breasts'. I guess I could get used to it hahaha ;p
