Should I drop finasteride and go for either dutas or RU58841?

I first started minoxidil 5% for about 7 months. After noticing that all it did was grow peach fuzz, vellus hairs, I added 1mg of finasteride everyday (inhouse pharma). After about a couple of weeks, I decided to just get rid of the minoxidil altogether and go on finasteride alone.

At this point my hairline near the right-temple started to recede so I got back on minoxidil and added nizoral and miconazole nitrate a little later on (I really noticed a lot more vellus hairs after adding this).

As of last month, I added folligen in the hopes of making those vellus hairs turn terminal; however it's still too early on to gauge whether it's working or not.

My problem is that my routine has grown so expensive that I need to cut down and go with what works. Should I drop finasteride since it's not working and buy dutas instead; or should I invest in getting some RU58841?

I would appreciate any help :)

Edit: I'm a diffuse thinner and my hair line has remained intact for the most part, except near the right temple. Also, if it helps to know, my hair started to thin out 5 years ago around the same time that I had been using nizoral for dandruff.

If money is an issue generic finasteride and generic minoxidil is unbeatable cheap. Also generic micon cream is really cheap. Do you think that micon is of any use for you?
