Should I buy Regenepure DR on its own, or should I buy both the DR and NT shampoo?

Do most people on these forums just use Regenepure DR, or do you use the Regenepure NT shampoo also and alternate the two.

Regenepure is expensive, and I'd prefer just to get the DR shampoo and not bother with the NT. Is the NT one necessary?

NT isn't necessary at all. For some ppl DR makes the hair look thin and makes it flat. So to add volume to the hair they use NT. You can use any other volumising shampoo if you feel the same :)

I think you should use plain old nizoral and not all these over priced shampoos with added ingredients that likely don't do a think for male pattern baldness

I started with a bottle of Nizoral, and about half way through switched to the Regenepure DR, NT, and Conditioner system. My logic was as follows:

1) You still need a shampoo for the off days with Nizoral, and a Conditioner for every day.
2) Regenepure NT is better than any other non-male pattern baldness fighting shampoo on the market for your actual hair and making it look good/nourishing it (plus it is sulfate free)
3) Regenepure NT and Conditioner have some ingredients (e.g. copper peptides, saw palmetto) that at best may help with hairloss and at worst have no negative effect
4) It costs about $60 for all 3 products for around a 2.5-3 month supply of this stuff. That's actually cheaper than a lot of quality shampoos/conditioners
5) If you want to go the absolute cheapest route, its Nizoral+Cheap as **** supplementary Shampoo+Cheap as **** conditioner, but your hair won't look nearly as good (however effectiveness against hair loss is essentially the same)

Thanks for your replies guys. I'll just stick with the Regenepure DR and won't bother getting the NT.

One more question: Are you meant to shake the bottle before use? I know that ordinary Nizoral is meant to be shaken before use, as is stated on the bottle. Is it the same for Regenepure DR?
