Should I Be Concerned? Or Is It Just Paranoia?

I've been noticing some hair thinning and slight loss for the past 3 months (never seen any at my bathroom, never felt more than 20 at a minute, no hair on pillows). Started using coconut oil daily before sleeping, which helped. Altough been noticing that I can see some parts of my scalp on certain lights and conditions (specially when wet). My father and one of his brothers has some severe hair loss (Spanish and Portuguese descent). My father told me he started losing at 23, I'm almost 24.

Took some pictures with my hair greased in coconut oil, and some with it dry. I'm not sure if it is balding, if I should be concerned, of I'm just paranoid. The part in which I feel I'm losing more (the crown) has this whirlwind since I was a child, so hair goes in many different directions.

I've been very stressed and blood exams showed low fat in blood. As I mentioned, I don't lose if I pull my hair, there isn't any on the shower drain, and it never felt more than 20 at a time. Also it is summer in Brazil (where I live), and I've been under sunlight for more time.

Should I be worried? What to do

Cara, esqueça óleo de côco, stress, sol...balela! A única coisa que você pode fazer no momento é começar a tomar fina e, secundariamente, minoxidil.

( = Forget bullshit. Finasteride as soon as possible, then decide about minoxidil  )

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but his crown looks normal for being wet?

Unless you have very dense hair, any oil or gel will cause your scalp to become visible.

How much hairfall is too much?

Should I start treatment or wait a little longer? I noticed not all of the hairs have telogen bulbs, which is a bad sign.

Well, I don't believe it's falling abnormally, compared with some friends. Can only see parts of the scalp with very heavy light and cocunut oil, but it's just parts where the hairs divide. Tested using cocunut oil, and it definetily helps with the loss.

Without the oil: About 10 to 20 hairs fall in the morning in a 60 second period of combing it with my hand
With the oil: About 2 or 3 hairs fall

Also, no hairs clogging the drain or in the pillow. And no M shapped format in the forehead.

It could be starting slowly, and I will keep following it up. Stress and alcohol abuse definetily increase the hair fall, coconuit oil applied daily before sleep reduces it.
