Should I Be Concerned About This At 17?

I reckon everyone with hair loss issues has been in my shoes at some point, so please bear with me. At one point my right temple started looking kind of strange so I started checking my hairline rather compulsively. Meanwhile the hair on my left side receded as well and now they're quite symmetrical, but I'm not sure if this is a "mature hairline" or something worse. Pics 1 and 2 were taken without the camera flash, and in pics 3, 4 and 5 the flash is on. It could just be my phone f*****g up the colours but I swear to god taking side pictures with the flash on has been horrible for the past few days because I'm under the impression that my hair has been thinning everywhere else as well.
Suggestions?

I have thin sides, but most likely it is not Androgenetic Alopecia. I suggest to keep monitoring: take good photos every 3/6 months. Besides you're still 17 and appear to be still growing. Most likely you wont be done by 18, so you cannot take finasteride at 18 like I did. (I was shaving daily by 16, had a beard since 8th grade and am the hairiest motherfucker on this planet (except for my back thank "god"))

I hope it's just hormones getting the best of me and it won't worsen over time. As far as I know, none of my distant relatives or grandparents went bald. My parents' hair isn't the greatest but they're both in their 50s, and my 28 year old brother still has a full head.

I'd say yes its started, but only a trained derm/hair specialist can ultimately tell you. I wouldn't rely on my or anyone else oppinion on here. You know your hair better than anybody so if your concerned go get checked.... Your hairline definitely has some minizuration though.

It almost always gets worse.

My parents make fun of me and think I'm stupid for wanting to see a dermatologist. It's not the baldness per se that worries me, but the fact that I look absolutely terrible even -with- hair and can't imagine what it would be like not to have any. I mean I've seen plenty of people who look great bald so it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm just not one of them.
