I'm at my 12 month mark of Propecia and it hasn't helped at all so far. I will add a topical in the next month but am undecided about using Rogaine foam. The reason being that I have a lot of scalp inflamation (scalp psoriasis) and I'm worried about the Rogaine foam making it worse, even though it's supposedly much less irritating than the liquid.
So...I've been reading a bit about Adenogen from Japanese company Shiseido. Adenogen contains Adenosine which has been shown to help thicken hair by up to 25-30%. That would be a good result AFAIC. Adenogen is also anti-inflamatory and 'quite nice to use' from what I've read. My belief is that it doesn't cause a shed like minoxodil does and is pretty much side-effect free. It's been around a while but is very expensive.
I'm wondering if I should give this a shot for 6 months and use Roagaine as my last resort. So I'd be very grateful for comments from anyone who has used it or if anyone (Bryan  ) has any comments on the thory behind it.
It's a PITA trying to find an effective topical that my scalp will be able to tolerate
