I was going to come here and post some picts of my progress, and let everyone know how well the treatments work.
But then I went into another shed.
I went through sheds in Dec/Jan. finasteride sheds, I assumed, and as I predicted, three months later I found a lot of hair starting to grow back in. In a couple weeks I was loving my hair! I could spike it and it looked great, not very thin at all (unless you looked at it from the top). A couple people aware of my condition and treatments commented on how good my hair looked (without me asking).
Why does my hair shed every time it starts to look good? Feck!!!
Well, really, it still looks good. The sheds have not been so bad yet. And while they have not stopped, it seems like it slowed down a bit today, so heres hoping. With some luck, I will not lose too much and will not feel compelled to shave my head as I have during past sheds. As it stands, my hair still looks better then it did a year ago.
But why do I shed every three-four months? Its not fair! (Well, none of this is fair, is it,. actually knowing how young some of us are here, I must say that in a way I supposed I am lucky to have hideable thinning at 28 years old). Still, I'm wondering. Actually there was a bit of a heat wave recently, so I wonder if perhaps all the sweating and pore-opening heat caused this. And I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, some of the hair is falling out because there is new growth pushing it out. That happens, right?
I gots to look good for summer!
I may just post some pics soon (never have before), sheds or no. At least if I document it, I'll be able to tell if its getting better or worse.
