Shedding Some Really Fine Hairs - Is finasteride Starting to Work?

Hi guys,

So I've been on 1.25mg of finasteride for about 3 months now after I noticed my crown was becoming thinner. When I shampoo my hair (2 times a week) I notice a collection of hairs on my hand, roughly 7-8 per hand after rubbing in the shampoo. Of those hairs, about 2-3 of them are very thin looking hairs. Does that mean that the finasteride is working now or does it mean that the finasteride is not enough? I never had hairs that thin fall out a month or two back.

I believe that is the finasteride working. Pre finasteride I would shed normal looking hairs, around 40-60 when showering. Starting finasteride, months 1-3 I was shedding these horrible thin hairs. This concerned me a lot at the time but Im at the end of month 4 now and I having major regrowth and I shed like literally no more than 3 hairs in the shower now.
