shedding question

has anyone here NOT shed because of rogaine? I've been taking finasteride for a while, so if i start minoxidil am i less likely to shed? thanks

You will probably have an initial shed on minoxidil, then after that your sheds won't be so bad with finasteride. minoxidil stopped all my shedding for me... I'm getting a small shed on Avodart now, but not as bad as I expected.

Either medication can promote or start some initial shedding which is typical and should subside after roughly 2-3 months. Best wishes to you.
