Shedding chest hair

Anyone had this yet. My g/f noticed it the other day. You see... I was making some dinner and I asked her to taste this sauce I was making. Well she discovered one of my chest hairs in it.

She then started to tug on my chest hair and before you knew there was clumps coming out. I wonder if this is related to finasteride?

I think this is what I keep finding in the bath rather than scalp hair, reason being is that when I wash my hair I see not one hair in my hand..
