Shedding after 4 monhts on finasteride

Hi, So Im on finasteride 4 months. during the last month, my hairloss has reduced significantly (3-5 hairson my finger while applying minoxidil). BUT - in the last 4-5 days I notice some shedding again (about 20 hairs on my finger while applying minoxidil). Does it mean that finasteride failed? I haven't heard about people who had still shedding after 4 months on Propecia.
Or it is a shed cycle of some hairs?

i think it may be normal? I remember having sheds every few months, but then new stronger hair would come.

Thanks for the reply. How long have you been on finasteride? (Are you still on it nowadays?)

I was on it for around 13yrs.. I am off now, but strongly considering going back to it.. Since I quit (4 months now) i didn't really shed, but my hair is getting thinner each day.. It freaks me out..

And how was your result with finasterid? Hold it or new hairs?
