I had a massive shed at one year mark of finasteride. Had scalp pain, burning, greasy hair, etc.. The huge shed calmed down after a month and a half but I've been steadily losing hair, about 50 every time I shower and if hair is dry and I run my hands through it, I will get like six..
I don't know what to do.. I want a transplant now to thicken me up, but I feel as though finasteride is causing this reaction..
I did have to quit minoxidil a month into the shed because it started to irritate my hairline.. I ONLY applied minoxidil to my hairline and I'm shedding from all over so it IS NOT THAT.
Has anyone had this? My hair is thinning now and I never was before finasteride. I've never had thinning hair ever actually, just receding hairline.
