What do you think? I mean I remember when I had peach fuss coming out of my ears/nose and by cutting those hairs it came in thicker and thicker lol... i mean really why wouldn't this theory work on vellus hairs? Just a thought. oh and if anyone decides to try this theory let us know and post your results!!!

First rule of hairloss: Scalp hair is nothing like hair on the rest of your body. Often what promotes the growth of body hair works quite the opposite on scalp hair.

So to answer you question, no velus hair will not grow thicker if you shave it. It might grow thicker in the next cycle if the treatments are working but then again it might never grow again.
