So here's the thing . I use to shave my head before starting a regime. I now have hair . I work as a doorman (bouncer) since having hair verbal compliance with people is non existent . When I was shaved I could get verbal compliance 9 times out of 10 this has now literally disappeared !

I used to play a lot of rugby and I was always more scared of the big bald bastards than the guys with perfect hair.

There was a radio talk show interview with Dr. George Cotsarelis (look him up) and the hosts at the radio station were having a discussion as to the effects of hair loss, the cons and even some pros. One thing stood out in regards to the 'shaved head' look; it makes men VERY masculine. Perhaps not in a positive way, as in, more attractive, but it really draws the point of a guy being more of a man than he already was. They used the term 'hypermale', but its generally a negative that its basically overwhelming.
