Before attempting propecia or minoxidil Im going to try to treat my scalp better to see if thats why Ive seen an increase in hair fallout. (But only about 6 or so pieces of hair when I run shampoo thru it or on the sink) I think Im starting to thin a bit in the front/center of my scalp

Which should I use to do this? I use head and Shoulders now which apparently has the bad sulfates and Loreal hair gel ...

Do I use neutrogenal tgel?nizorol?Tsal?

Your help is appreciated

mate dandruff doesnt cause hair loss. some v severe scalp conditions involving severe flaking of the scalp, bleeding of the scalp etc, yes. but not just dandruff. i used to have stubborn dandruff years ago but it never caused ne hairloss. im pretty sure about this one. get on propecia early and stick with it. u may or may not experience some type of sheds early but hopefully ull get back some of what uve just lost over a year if ur lucky. nizoral was used in the clinical trials with propecia, it generally keeps scalp in good condition and some believe it can wash away excess dht. use it 3x a week or so. good luck!

Ok here's the skinny. If you want to keep losing hair, but only very slightly slower. Try a new shampoo.

If you want to improve your scalp condition and possibly maintain some of the hair your have, I would HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend the folligen like of products:

http://www.folligen.com

Get the Shampoo/Conditioner Combo with a bottle of the spray. This will last you about 4-5 months used 4-5 days a week. On the other days use Nizoral.

Now if want to keep your hair. Get on Finasteride.
Oh yeah and if you want to regrow your hair? Get on Minoxidil.
