I currently shampoo and condition my lace hair system once a week whilst using leave in conditioner almost every day.

I was wondering if I would get greater longevity of the system and less shedding by shampoo and conditioning every 2/3 weeks instead?

im getting 2/3 months out of a system. Was wondering if shampooing/ conditioning a bit less often might cause less shedding.

That's an appropriate amount of time.

That's why I asked. Respectfully, I think the expectation is what's wrong...not your maintenance ritual..

Your shampoo and condition regemin should be based on the condition of the hair, not time or expected system longevity.

Experiment by waiting a few days longer between conditioning. However, I'd bet it will get awfully dry...the longer you wait... Making the hair brittle and causing the system to fail sooner

2 months of great looking hair is much better than 4 months of poor looking hair.

Waiting multiple weeks, between conditioning, is crazy....
