Seriously, How Effective Is Finasteride?

Seen so many people say that finasteride don't stop balding, just slow it down, some even say it completely useless. Just how effective is finasteride generally? How many people halted their hair loss completely and even regrow on finasteride?

Pretty much the stupidest analysis on finasteride of all time, and that's saying something. It doesn't event warrant a response but I've talked with multiple people my age (early twenties) who have obvious balding about treatment and none of them thought anything like finasteride existed and some of these guys are norwood 4s. I didn't know about finasteride until I was a norwood 2.5. Are you stupid enough to believe that every last bald man on the street has tried finasteride? Top kek.

The actual data of which there is a huge amount spanning multiple decades makes it clear that it has long term efficacy for about 85% of users to hold you at baseline for ten years at least (the available studies don't go beyond that, so potentially longer).

Finasteride is a wonderdrug for the majority of users as a maintenance treatment.

I agree with what you said. However, I'm pretty sure the data from the studies would look a bit different if they were done solely on guys between the ages of 18-25. I think the success would be lower, but the majority would still benefit from it.

I was talking about the long-term efficiency and I believe so for obvious reasons. Early hair loss is more likely aggressive hair loss, which means super sensitive hair follicles that become even more sensitive with time.
However, I do believe young guys will have the best regrowth. Recent hair loss is easier to grow back.

it really depends .
for some it work wonders , for others it did nothing .
Don't expect miracles ; if you have maitenance it is still a HUUUUGE sucess
