So I have been trying to use Nizoral for the benefits of helping with hair loss, but it just makes my seborrheic dermatitis worse. This is weird to me because I've read that Nizoral is actually supposed to help with seborrheic dermatitis.
So anyway, something that I've always used to deal with this is Selenium Sulfide shampoo/lotion. This works great, and I've been having to use this to deal with the flares up that happen with using Nizoral.
So what I'm wondering is, does anyone know why this is happening? And are there any studies for Selenium Sulfide and hair loss?
Do Selenium Sulfide and Nizoral have the same effect on hair loss possibly?
edit: For those that don't know, seborrheic dermatitis is just like a skin irritation, or at least it is for me. It affects my lips and makes them feel dry constantly, and since using Nizoral it's really bad, so I think I'm going to stop using it.
