I'm posting on an iPhone so I'll be brief. In order to treat male pattern baldness I commenced using finasteride in April of 09 & added minoxidil toward the end of last year to good effect. After suffering unacceptable sides from the finasteride, some of which persist to this day, I dropped it from my regime in January. I've continued to use Kirkland minoxidil 5% twice daily but have begun to lose ground at my temples. To this end, I'd like to know what I can add to my regime to halt or slow this process? I bought 2% nizoral last week & have added that, but think I need to add something else to achieve better results. Should I be looking at spironolactone cream or something like Xandrox? spironolactone seems to be the most sensible option but I'm yet to see sufficient evidence that it works.
