Thats link gets you a video from Aderans, where Dr. Ken Washenik himself will describe hair multiplication (cloning) to you. Dr. Washenik has had a few transplants himself (he talks about it), and you can see how he approached it. His work was dont by L. Lee Bosley personally. It would have been strip surgery as Bosley does not do FUE (or not to my knowledge). You can see that Washenik wisely opted for a mature, slightly receeded hairline in the video. It looks like good work and is a good indication of what transplants are like in person if done well and you dont keep losing a great deal of hair.

Here is Washenik in an article with Bosley in WIRED magazine discussing cloning further http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/12.01/baldness.html

This is a pretty good article http://www.hairsite4.com/dc/dcboard.php ... 050&page=2 going into detail what L. Lee Bosley started as a business and how he responds to the mention of the awful doll-hair results done in the seventies and early eighties here. It also describes Washenik's multiple procedures (he's the medical director at Bosley as well as the head of cloning research at Aderans) with Bosley personally.
