Seborrheic Dermatitis

My hair has slowly been thinning since I was 21 years old. It is diffuse hairloss, my hairline is intact but throughout the vertex there is thinning. There is not much of a difference in hair between now and since 4 years ago. I'm 27 now.

I've been on finasteride, nizoral and minoxidil for 5 months now, my hair looks pretty much the same.

I went to see my GP who said I have mild Seborrheic Dermatitis. He seems to think this has caused the thinning of my hair rather than male pattern baldness.

My hair is quite oily, and so is my face. I still suffer from acne at 27.

I've now dropped minoxidil as I haven't seen any regrowth, it's messy and it has also increased body hair.

Is hair loss from Seborrheic Dermatitis reversible?

Any other advice on what I could do? Should I see a dermatologist.

my 2c,

I would wash my hair daily rotating the following shampoos:

- Keto shampoo 3x week or more

- Piroctione Olamine shampoo

- Tee trea oil shampoo

try to leave the shampoo on at least 5 minutes before rinsing.
